Manta Aircraft Concept

For the longest time I've had this idea of a manta ray inspired aircraft or spacecraft. Over the years I've tackled designing such a craft but was never fully satisfied until I got the idea of the mandibles (actually called cephalic lobes/fins) being purposed as deployable landing gear and the mouth basically being a giant air intake.
